Helping Veterans and Surviving Spouses Receive In-Home Care With No Out-of-Pocket Costs

Caring Hearts Homecare of Southeast Missouri is proud to work with the VetAssist® Program, a nationally recognized service that helps eligible wartime Veterans and surviving spouses receive in-home care immediately, even while the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs reviews their benefit application.

If you or your loved one qualifies, care can begin now, not months from now.

What Is the VetAssist® Program?

The VetAssist® Program helps eligible Veterans and surviving spouses apply for the VA’s Aid and Attendance benefit, which can help pay for in-home care services.

Since 2003, VetAssist® has provided expert guidance through the VA application process while coordinating quality home care through trusted providers like Caring Hearts Homecare.

Care Starts Now — No Waiting

VA benefit approval can take up to six months.
Through the VetAssist® Program, qualified individuals may receive:

  • Immediate access to in-home care
  • An interest-free advance to cover care costs while the VA reviews the claim
  • Repayment made once VA benefits are approved

This means your loved one can receive the help they need when they need it most.
